Student Organization for Aerospace Research
We design, build, test, and fly hybrid sounding rockets
The mission
SOAR gives students the responsibility, tools, and mentorship to turn aerospace theory into flight-proven systems.
Our multidisciplinary crew owns the entire mission—from first principles and design reviews to machining, static fires, launch operations, and recovery.
Integrated subteams
Every flight is a team effort. Our subteams work across interfaces, test assumptions, and make decisions with the mission in mind.
